Runaway Bay All inclusive Vacations

Extremely disappointing experience and absolutely not what was advertised or what we paid for. A significant portion of the resort was closed due to ongoing hurricane renovations, yet this was not properly disclosed before booking and we were still charged full price. The food was one of the worst parts of the stay. At Las Olas buffet, we were served chicken that was green/undercooked. When I complained, I was told it was because we had arrived towards the end of service — as though being served leftover, potentially unsafe food was acceptable. There were also waits of around 20–25 minutes just to be seated at a self-service buffet because there were apparently not enough staff available. The overall experience felt severely understaffed and poorly managed. Facilities and services we reasonably expected from the advertised resort experience were unavailable, and the atmosphere was nothing like what we had been sold. I did raise concerns with staff while at the property, but the responses were dismissive rather than helpful. For such a short stay, we spent far too much of our holiday dealing with problems that should never have existed in the first place. Had the extent of the closures, reduced facilities and service limitations been clearly disclosed before booking, I would never have chosen this hotel. I feel completely misled by the way this property was presented. I would not recommend staying here while the resort is still under construction

The room was clean and they provided a coffee pot and coffee/tea supplies. There was air condition and a ceiling fan. Lots of storage via a closet, chest of drawer and night tables The breakfast buffet was really good and you also had a choice to order. The staff was extremely friendly There was access to a private and/or public beach… you needed a pass for the private beach The price for the rooms were very reasonable The layout, landscape of the property was beautiful. You felt like you were in your own little cottage, with a veranda and a gate. Very quite surroundings and very well done kept
