The Staff at this location is amazing! The location is on the beach and peaceful ❤️ My main complaint was the upkeep of the hotel. My room did not have a working TV My whole trip. As a solo traveller I like to have background noise at night. Even if there was a smart TV, I could have had YouTube or something on, but it was an old TV with no cable. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk, they said the cable has been out for awhile. The air conditioning was spotty , but I could manage. The meals were served at inconvenient times. The one night I missed dinner by 10 minutes, the server basically said nothing she could do. It was a bus boy that came to my rescue , he approached me and said he could get me a plate for dinner and carried it out for me. Should this not have been the response from the server/hostess? Not the person clearing the dishwasher? My friend had a bad experience, with his room. 2 nights the air conditioning stopped working when we came in at 11pm and no one was around to assist. He had to stay with me those nights after unsuccessfully attempting to sleep in the sweat lodge of a room. What if he was truly a solo traveler? Nit only was he inconvenienced by I was as well. I don't expect the staff to be HVAC experts, however I do expect management to step up amd provide the services and amenities that guests paid for.
