The room was clean but you could tell some things needed some general maintenance. Lightbulbs burned out, cracks in sink and countertops. The staff wasn’t very helpful navigating the layout of the resort so I just wondered until I figured it out on my own. Pools were pretty small for the size of the resort and there was no beach/ocean access due to seaweed. It was farther away than most of the activity areas on the island than I expected also.

The first day we arrived. I let the front desk know the lights in the bathroom. We’re not working. The coffee maker was not working for me and the phone did not work. When I tried to communicate with the front desk over the phone. They acted like I was prank, calling them, and that it was my fault that the phone wasn’t working. They never did fix the lighting in the bathroom. I had zero lighting to put make up on the floors were always dirty. They didn’t clean the room until after three, when I asked for a plate ware they said for me to go and get it from the restaurant. The TV did not work. I contacted front desk about that. They did nothing about it. For a resort of this caliber, everything should be working, and things should be resolved quickly again, to recap lighting in the bathroom, never resolved, TV, never resolved phone never resolved.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for. I want to make special mention of Ann - Marie at the front desk, Robert in the breakfast dining area, and Gabor from in he breakfast dining area, who went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and catered to. I would definitely recommend this stay to others.

Our stay at La Concha Key West was amazing. The location is within walking distance to all of the major attractions. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The entire staff was knowledgeable, accommodating, and went above and beyond to meet our requests and needs. We stayed three nights including our 52nd anniversary. When we arrived at our room an anniversary welcoming gift was waiting for us. This gesture was above and beyond any expectations we may have had. This hotel and amazing staff made our stay absolutely amazing!
