Yes it's secluded. Yes it is a large property that requires a lot of walking. The rooms are slightly dated. It's all made up by the attention and care from the staff at the Ritz. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon. We were treated with the utmost care from the kind folks there. The property is well manicured and clean. The pools were fun and the golf cart ride for the long walk to the beach is a must. Unfortunately we left with a slight sour note at the end of the trip. I left my Nike Dri-Fit hoodie in the armoire the entire time during my stay... Never took it out, and only had it there for the weather back home. Although it was my mistake, I left my sweater behind. I contacted the hotel an hour after I checked out. And somehow, the staff "did not locate" the sweater. It was frustrating to have to keep asking for updates for a sweater. Until lost and found finally admitted they didn't find a sweater.

Room was wonderful! We ate on the deck every day. Our favorite part was being able to leave our things in the room and head straight out to the pool or beach. No fuss! Good experience with kids. Beach was a little steep for my non-swimmers, but we got used to navigating the waves safely. Loved it, no notes.

I felt overall for the price I paid for my room the that this hotel is overpriced for the amenities and service level. To many additional upgrade and VIP charges in addition to what you are already paying. We were also supposed to Receive a small welcome gift everyday but you only received this if you stood in the front desk Line and requested it.

The Andaz is just beautiful. We loved the location, the pool and the activities they offered. The only downside was the pool chairs were hard to get with so many people putting their stuff down and then disappearing all day. They could have enforced this better. But overall we would love to stay again!

This property has long been one of my global Four Seasons favorites, and I remain truly grateful for the warm hospitality I always receive. I was also very appreciative of the wonderful upgrade to an ocean-view room — mahalo for that thoughtful gesture. I’ve been visiting this resort regularly since 1999, and it has always felt like a special place to return to. Because of that long history, I want to share my recent experience with kindness and understanding. After an 8-hour journey, I was hoping to rest upon arrival, but daytime renovations on the 8th floor and in the gym area made this difficult — the jackhammering and construction noise were constant. While I fully recognize that improvements are necessary from time to time, advance notice would have helped me plan accordingly. I was also a little surprised that, despite being told by housekeeping that the resort wasn’t too busy on December 1st, my request for a late checkout wasn’t possible. I appreciated being offered use of the Aloha Suite, but after many years of returning, I had hoped for a bit more flexibility. Finally, one unexpected moment caught me off guard: when picking up my electric toothbrush charger, a cockroach ran out from behind it — likely attracted to toothpaste residue. I understand that island environments can make pest control a challenge, but it was an unsettling experience. We loved our stay at the Eldorado by outrigger! Clean room, comfy king bed, kitchen and bathroom. The cabana on the beach was the best part— you can rent chairs and towels and this is included in your stay! The cabana also has a full kitchen with a fridge to store your beach drinks and snacks. We loved walking to the beach and whalers village, but there is also complimentary ride on a golf cart available! Overall we had the best trip saying here.

The good: Beach is amazing including the snorkeling. Store has everything you need, a little more expensive but not ridiculous. The bad: weird check-in and service. The rooms are obviously managed by different companies. Front desk isn't necessarily your main contact. They call someone else. The 'B' rooms are tiny......only enough room to sleep. No ice....have to buy it for $5 per bag at the store. Overall, we'd come back to this area but not sure if we would do the 'B' room.

The room was very clean. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The reception staff were especially helpful when my husband had to go to the hospital and we had to cut our trip short. I especially want to thank Michael, our waiter for his concern and help. It was much appreciated.
