Our stay at Sea Shore Allure was amazing! The property is so clean and absolutely beautiful. The owners were so professional and accommodating. I truly cannot say enough about this special place! We will be staying here again when we return to St. John!

We loved staying here! Exactly what we were looking for and exceeded expectations. The cove and beach were gorgeous. This side of the island is protected from the wind so it was stunning when the other side of the island was getting hit with rough waves and seaweed. There’s a small reef right off the beach so it was so easy to snorkel. The restaurant onsite was amazing and the bar was awesome just footsteps from our room. The staff were so nice and helped with calling taxis. We came in the off season so the beach was not packed at all and it felt like we had found a little slice of paradise that not many people knew about. The room was so clean and it was awesome to have a little kitchen with a full fridge. It was an easy taxi from the airport and you’re so close to red hook to jump on the ferry to St John. We definitely will be staying here again and would recommend to friends and family!

Some of the staff were EXTREMELY helpful. The other 50% seemed very disinterested, agitated, or flat out didn’t want to be there. The majority of the resort personnel are not willing or able to give you any recommendations or advice about anything on the island. They live on St Thomas and ferry over for work. They literally couldn’t even give advice on local restaurants with local cuisine and culture. The staff that absolutely helped us the most and were very enjoyable to be around were DeShawn, Marcus (taxi driver) and Dan/Don (taxi driver). I would like to thank those gentleman for a wonderful experience. While checking in they attempted to put me in a room on the complete opposite side of the resort across the road. Very far away from the minimal amenities this property has to offer. The amenities on resort or severely lacking. They have one sandwich shop / Starbucks. The Espresso machine at Starbucks was broken. How as that even possible? That’s pretty much the staple of ANY Starbucks. The restaurant Lemon Grass which isn’t even open for breakfast lacks a lot… it’s honestly not even worth typing about. I also did not know that this Westin is a timeshare property. Overall, my recommendation is to stay somewhere else… probably on the OTHER side of the island which has more of the USVI vibe. Take the time to do the research and DO NOT settle on the Westin simply because of the name and brand awareness or you will ultimately be disappointed.

Great evening offerred to move us when there was local construction starting

The whole experience was amazing. There are so many amenities that come with your stay that it takes a few days, yes days to understand everything that is available. The staff is amazing. You can ask anyone a question about the property and they either give you the answer or know who to get you too for the answer. My favorite was the pool is open 24 hours. The night swimming was alot of fun.

My stay at Windward Passage Hotel was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I am requesting a significant partial refund because the condition of the hotel and lack of service did not match what I paid for. During my 5-day stay (August 28-September 2nd), I had to change rooms THREE times, which was extremely inconvenient. I also experienced lack of cleanliness through out all of the rooms I was switched to. Photos are attached showing a dirty remote, a moldy/nasty electrical outlet, a dirty bathtub, dead flies on the bathroom ceiling, and stains/buildup on the walls and ceiling. Housekeeping was another major issue. We specifically told staff they did not need to remake the beds or disturb our belongings—we only requested fresh towels and trash removal. Despite this, housekeeping came only ONCE during my entire stay, on the second-to-last day. I was told housekeeping would come in the middle of my stay, but that did not happen. There was also a serious water issue on the 4th floor. The water was brown/discolored and barely worked, making it difficult to properly shower and use the bathroom. I paid for a clean, sanitary room, functioning water, and basic housekeeping. Instead, I had to change rooms three times, deal with unacceptable cleanliness issues, receive minimal housekeeping, and experience barely functioning brown water. This was supposed to be a birthday vacation, but I spent a significant amount of time dealing with problems that should never occur at a hotel
