I booked the apartment because it was the only one with 2 single beds on Expedia website, unfortunately it wasn’t when we got there. I didn’t see the small print about leaving a deposit (£150) when I paid for the 2 nights on Expedia app. The apartment was okay clean, but scratches on walls, doors and refrigerator, and I had to take videos as evidence just to avoid getting claims from the management, the boiler didn’t work so I read through the instructions to reboot it just to get hot water. Apartment windows are all facing the main road, the noise level was unbearable during night hours, Lastly, I don’t like the management asking me for my passport copy, hackers are everywhere these days, how can they guarantee all confidential information are well kept?

酒店离Jesmond地铁站很近，离市中心也近。酒店服务好，早餐好，也很安静。唯一的不足是电梯不是直达每一层。我住的层没有电梯直达，而行李很重，所以，需要搬一层才能到房间。如果是女士，就会觉得搬行李不方便。

The location and surrounding area is beautiful ,meals ere good and public rooms were very comfortable and well presented. The main issue and disappointment was that the area was a live building site as construction works were still being carried out on the Spa area, Construction traffic ,materials and staff were everywhere and this caused difficulties with parking and Hotel access when driving. The room we had was nice but the TV did not work properly and with no internet connection viewing choices were limited., There was no remote to operate the air cooling fan (room was very hot). The fan in the bathroom did not work and only one window would open for adequate fresh air. Construction noise started at 6:30 and continued until late afternoon/early evening.I was made aware of the construction work shortly after making my booking but was not anticipating so much work still to be carried out as the latest information supplied stated that the new facility was opening on the second day of our stay, this in fact did not happen and work was still being carried out on our departure date.

The property was only a short bus ride out of the centre of Newcastle. Whilst the area initially looked run down, the hotel deserves more than a 2 star rating. The staff were friendly and helpful and arranged a taxi for us early on the morning of our departure so we could collect our hire car at the airport. A short walk up a couple of blocks and you can enjoy some fine Persian food at the Rose Restaurant. We had a peaceful night's sleep on a comfortable bed. The shower was a bit tight, but workable.

The only downfall to our stay was the early morning delivery of food etc with the lorries outside our room. but this would not stop me from staying here again but I would request a different location of room .
