Illawarra Beach Vacations

After what appears to be a mixup between Hotels.com and the motel where we did not get the room we booked as it was not actually available, we were offered the family studio with more space and a kitchenette which was good. The newly refurbished room had comfy beds and a spacious bathroom.

Good location for town but away from crowds. Spacious well equipped room only downside was lack of insulation in walls so quite noisy in terms of being able to hear too much of guests in nearby rooms. (Pool is also tiny)

When booking in an “Estate” we were expecting an elegant peaceful place ….. WRONG… we ended up in a former garage-barn quickly and cheaply renovated at 15 meters from a busy road…, The feeling of sleeping next to the highway…. To be avoided.

Was a grubby motel. Room stank of smoke and was fairly rough. Not usually what I expect for a Quest

Great area. Pets really welcome. Cabin had an attempted reno but still dated and old. No window locks worked and web tells guests to insure. Keybox for checkin was hard to find-didnt match notes. I wouldn’t pay 250/night again. Not worth it
