This is the most amazing place....as long as you are on the isle of mull😀. Food is absolutely fantastic. Lounge is so comfy. The view is amazing. You have to find the fairy path towards the ferry terminal..amazing!!! Staff are fantastic..reception, bar, restaurant...all of it. 😀😀😀

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The decor is outdated, maybe by 20 years. The room...... I did request a single room ,and that's fine the smell of old furniture though wasn't. As soon as you got to the top floor. The carpet was stained and had crumbs on it . The side table was sticky with spilt alcohol, which you could smell. Oh yes the window sill was filthy with dust and foot prints on in as if someone was smoking out the window. I cleaned the surfaces with a wet soapy cloth. Not ideal after a 5 hrs drive. I couldn't share this at the time as the staff clocked off at 10pm roughly and I had arrived at 9.30. And left early next morning before the staff arrived. For the price of the room for one night I thought it was very poor. Ending on a good note...the staff were great, of what I saw of them. I would not recommend this place 😐. A shame as the drive up was breath taking 🙂

The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.
