We arrived at night during the rain. When we woke up we realized we had the worst resort view at the hotel. The balcony was over roof of the building next door that had a constant loud ventalation system running that you could hear in the room. They moved us four flights up right above the first room, same noise. The rooms need a dehumidifier as it always smelled damp and musty. There was no hot water from the sink so I never felt my hands were clean. The toilet was for toddlers and you felt like you were sitting on the ground to use it and then the flushing was so loud and long we felt like everyone in our hallway knew when we used it. Paid a resort fee everyday but had to ask for water and towels, no coffee cups replaced, no shelving in the fridge to hold our drinks, charged us for valet services we didnt use, had to pay for chairs on the beach, one out of three elevators working and it was dirty due to constant use. They give you a beeper by the pool when you order food but it didnt work and they didnt even try to find us. When we called today to dispute the charges on our bill nobody picked up for almost an hour even when someone from reservations tried to reach out. It is very run down and not in any way a resort and spa more like a motel. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet but it was expensive and we had to ask for silverware, only gave us spoons.

During our stay, the elevator was completely out of service, and we had to climb the stairs many times. In the breakfast room, one of the younger waiters had a very bad attitude and was extremely slow, except for one staff member who was fine. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud. If you’re not a heavy sleeper, I really wouldn’t recommend staying here—you’ll feel like you’re sleeping on a train all night.
