Fethiye Beach Vacations

I recently stayed at Ocean Blue Hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to the main attractions, restaurants and shops, making it a great base for exploring the area. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. While some areas could benefit from a slight refurbishment, it wasn't overly dated and offered good value for money. The balcony was spacious with amazing views and was one of the highlights of the stay. The staff were exceptional throughout, always friendly, helpful and willing to assist with any requests. Their service really made a positive difference to the experience. I didn't visit the spa, so I can't comment on those facilities. The only area that fell short for me was breakfast. The selection felt somewhat limited, and items that ran out were often slow to be replenished. This may simply come down to personal preference, but I found myself choosing to eat breakfast elsewhere on several occasions. Overall, a good stay with excellent staff, a fantastic location and beautiful views. With a few improvements to the breakfast offering, it would be an even better experience. I don't feel it lives up to its advertised 5-star rating. In my opinion the overall experience was closer to that of a 3-star The hotel is located in a fairly rural area with very few amenities, shops or attractions nearby. While the beach is roughly a 30-40 minute walk away and taxis are generally easy to find, you're still largely reliant on the hotel's facilities and services The biggest disappointments was the service. Staff were often difficult to find, particularly those promoting local excursions and trips, despite having dedicated desks within the hotel. On the occasions I did interact with staff, I found them unhelpful and, at times, quite rude. For example, I was initially advised that a late checkout could be arranged for an additional fee, which I was happy to pay, but when I later tried to organise it, I was simply told it was no longer possible without any explanation. The security staff outside were also frequently abrupt and unwelcoming, which only added to the feeling that customer service was not a priority. There were some genuine positives. The food was excellent, with huge variety of options available throughout the stay and something to suit almost everyone. The entertainment was also a highlight, especially for families and children. There were shows and activities most evenings, which were enjoyable and well organised.
