Central California Cheap Vacations

It was a pleasant stay. The facility was clean and quaint. Bed was nice, I personally like mattress on the firmer side. Some things could use a bit of update, but overall it was good. Price was a little steep for the type of rooms, but I booked less than 2 weeks from my visit time.

If you’re looking for a decent budget stay while on the Central Coast, the Aloha Inn is perfectly acceptable. Right off the freeway, close to The Village in AG, and close to a lot of the things people come to CenCal for. The bed was comfortable, there was adequate body wash/shampoo, the fridge and microwave were helpful, and it was generally pretty quiet despite being RIGHT next to the freeway. However, they REALLY need to pay better attention to the cleanliness of the rooms - especially the bathroom. My room’s toilet had clearly not been cleaned, and there were little hairs everywhere. There was residue on the walls, and no good place to hang up your bath towel, which was annoying. I wouldn’t say it was dirty, but it DEFINITELY could use a refresh. Some of the paint was chipped and peeling, and my desk chair was in need of repair. However, I paid a very reasonable amount for the room, so I wasn’t going to be THAT picky. The man at the desk was friendly and efficient, so that was a good thing. Overall, I would stay again, but I sincerely hope they go through the rooms and do a deep clean/repair soon, as I could see it being a big turnoff for some.
