Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. We were unable to get a good night’s sleep because children were running up and down the hallways and repeatedly banging doors late into the night. The rooms have virtually no soundproofing—you can hear everything happening in the hallway and neighboring rooms. If you’re looking for a quiet, restful stay, this hotel may not be the best choice.

We had a mixed experience. The property itself was very nice—everything was clean, well-maintained, and our room was comfortable. The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere. However, we were surprised by how expensive many of the resort’s activities were so we did not do them. The biggest disappointment was the beach. There was a significant amount of seaweed (sargassum) in the water, which created a strong unpleasant odor. Unfortunately, this made it difficult to enjoy the ocean and affected our beach experience.

This property is ideal for families. The location is perfect if you want to relax and focus on your family. It is not made for luxury travels. Do not expect a higher level of service (aka roaming servers at pool or near the beach). Do plan for your young adult fishermen/fisherwoman to have a blast. There is so much comfort in the lagoon swimming and separation of fishing docs. This property is for those who want a washer/dryer and a chill vibe- not for a luxury vibe.

That was a clean room and a nice little resort reasonably priced for what you get. We had a comfortable night in Key West.
