Southeast Ireland Kid friendly Vacations

You cannot call yourself a 4 star hotel if you dont provide guests with air conditioning in the summer. Fans do not help. Its unpleasant to wake up in a pool of sweat. We were promised a particular room and we're given the wrong one. They gave our room to someone else. We were promised a box of chocolates but there were none. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was so so. They lock the front door at night so if you want to get some fresh air after 11pm you have to get permission. 2 stars.

Great room size for family of 5. Lots for kids to keep them entertained

The Pembroke Hotel is in a wonderful location in the center of Kilkenny. There is free parking but it is a bit tricky if you have a large vehicle. Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Easy walk to many restaurants, pubs and the castle.

Hotel is on the outskirts of the city with ample free parking. Surrounded by auto sales dealerships therefore not pedestrian friendly for a stroll. Room was clean and well appointed. The interior felt much newer than the exterior. Excellent

Overall fine, however there is no air conditioning. I was told it’s a rarity in most Irish hotels - and even their homes. They did provide a fan on request. Bed somewhat hard for my curvy body. The included breakfast was great - full Irish breakfast if you want.
