Just so nobody is fooled: this is not a four star hotel. It’s outdated , and the bathrooms are extremely small and old. Also, the restaurant might put you on a reservation but never calls back. The pool and saunas are nice.

Pros: Weekend staff was very helpful and the heated pool was great. Short easy walk to the beach as well as a quick drive to downtown activities. I enjoyed the option to stream on our own account as that's usually a pain in hotels. Cons: We paid the full resort fee of $20 but there was no spa as advertised, the putting green was disappointing at best, the fitness room was out of service, and there was no breakfast or housekeeping offered. All things a resort fee would be expected to cover. When we arrived our key card wouldn't work with our door, despite many attempts to fix it. Over the course of our weekend stay the door alarm would randomly go off, a couple times in the middle of the night. That was a pain to say the least. No amenities (including hand soap) in the bathroom so we had to go out and buy our own. The water temp was also all over the place. I had to submit to taking a freezing shower over scalding myself. Outlets were out of reach behind furniture and the ones you could access didn't work. Overall the stay was okay enough for a last minute option on a summer weekend, but I wouldn't recommend or stay again without some major updates.
