Adirondack Region Kid friendly Vacations

Amazing views of Lake George from our balcony. The kids playground was perfect for our 4 year old and the beach with shallow water area for the kids is perfect. The quick access to the Boat House is just perfect for lunch or dinner. The kayaks and water activities are fun for everyone. We would certainly return!

Very Disappointing Experience — Not Worth the Price I have to be honest: for the amount of money we paid for our stay, the experience was extremely disappointing. The price suggests a luxury, high-standard property, but unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and the level of upkeep did not come close to matching what we paid. The concept of the hotel is excellent, with many amenities and services available on site, but the property itself feels very dated and poorly maintained. The game room was particularly disappointing. The pool table was falling apart and had missing pieces, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel charging premium rates. The pool and outdoor hot tubs were another major disappointment. The water was not clean, with a significant amount of debris visible on the bottom of the pool and in the outdoor hot tubs. These are basic maintenance and cleanliness standards that I would expect to be taken care of, especially at this price point. The room was also not what we expected. While the king-size bed was acceptable, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows provided were hard and uncomfortable. Our children could not sleep properly throughout the night and eventually had to come into our bed. For a family paying a premium price, this is simply unacceptable.
