Very nice rooms and great resturants

When I opened our room I smelled mold and mildew terribly. I being allergic to mold started to get really stuffed up. However, we thought maybe it was just the air conditioner just getting started. We sprayed some perfume to mask the smell and got dressed for the pool and went swimming. I instantly felt some relief being in the pool room. We went back and it was almost instantly back to severe sinus pressure sneezing and not feeling well. I happened to look down and seen mold on the carpet. Looked closer and every piece of furniture legs were covered in mold. The drawer had mold in it along with the bible recently being wet. I went to the front desk and they put us in a new room. smaller than what we paid for. With it being prepaid we just took it because we didn’t want to go through the hassle of refund and finding a new one the same night. When we opened the door it smelled like a normal hotel room. Not the slightest hint of mildew. I spent the whole night and next day feeling terrible and still recovering from it. I’m thankful that myself and my family didn’t have to breathe in the mold long however, that room should have never been in service to begin with and needs a complete redo or something to get rid of the mold. The rest of the stay was decent. Hot tub was down. Breakfast is decent as well. Hotel staff was very friendly and easy to work with.
