Excellent hotel overall; a bit far from Phoenix city center, but there's some neat nearby attractions like the OdySea aquarium, bowling, and indoor skydiving.
Perfect location for a concert at the Van Buren. Everyone was very friendly, the place is an older hotel but you can see they put a lot of care in their facility. Check in and out was easy.
It was extremely quiet. Or was immaculately clean. Just a good place to rest
There was no remote control in our room. Bathroom near check in was so gross
The room was clean and cool in 102F weather. It was quiet, the staff were helpful and the swimming pool was the place to be on a hot day.
The room is spacious, cold and clean. However the bathtub needs to be replaced or fixed. The anti slip mat was peeling anx the leak coating is not professionally done. Also, the crowd is not that great. There were a lot of undesirables so lock your doors.
The lights went out forabout 2 hrs didnt have clean towels lady was rude in front desk at the time the lights went out i didnt have anywhere to go so i had to set and wait it out
Rooms were newly renovated. Very bright and welcoming.
Very nice boutique hotel, the pool is a very nice feature.
