This hotel is located amazingly well! It’s within 15 min walk from pretty much every thing. The service is friendly and welcoming ! However this is an extremely busy hotel with conventions constantly on so much so sometimes the elevators have lines waiting.

San Francisco (SFO) to Québec (YQB)

7.6/10 Good! (1,104 reviews)

Unfortunately, 2 items stood out and affected the level of satisfaction with my stay. 1. The room door security bolt was ineffective - it appeared that the actual door frame had been broken due to someone kicking the door in while the deadlock was engaged. Addition of a light-duty chain lock was not reassuring as the screws were short and secured to the same broken frame. This was distressing. 2. The room was not cleaned thoroughly. Dust, debris and an item from a previous guest were visible between the bed and the bedside table. A components of the broken toilet seat lid was on the floor beside the toilet base. Additional concerns: The shower was tiny, the door didn't open easily and was difficult to get through. The electrical sockets were well-used and plugs did not stay in place thus items would not charge unless manually held in place. There were very few available plugs. The jets in the tub did not work. The ironing board was extremely short and the iron did not hold water for steam. On the other hand, the brick work and wooden elements were nice, the fireplace was a cozy addition and the bed and bedding was comfortable. I appreciated that the outer door was locked at 11pm. The entrance way and lobby were well-lit. Staff were unable to help with a booking concern and I had to pay for a full night that wasn't used. This was connected to Expedia.
