Phoenix Romantic Vacations

Resort was very clean and rooms were spacious

It was a small but moderately clean room. The service was great they checked in multiple times. Your only option to park is by vallet which was a little steep at $40.00 per night. The hotel was definitely busy when we stayed. We had dinner at the restaurant on site the first night. The chicken wings were great and came with an amazing sauce not your ordinary blue cheese or ranch. We also had the roasted corn Cesar salad with cornbread croutons. It was mostly lettuce, with very little corn or croutons. We had a mixed drink then switched to wine as the mixed drinks were mostly juice. All in all it wasn't a terrible stay.

Well, if you want the cool, up-scale, mid-century, Rat Pack, vibes of a great hotel, the Hotel Valley Hotel in Scottsdale is the BEST. Built in 1956 and very well maintained, this hotel has everything from a pool, a couple of hot tubs, lots of surrounding lounge chairs, cool restaurant and bar and is located in the very center and heart of Scottsdale shopping/museum/city park area, so you can walk everywhere. The hotel grounds are planted with beautiful flowering dessert plants and trees that bloom year round so hummingbirds are buzzing all around. Guest check-in at front desk is efficient and friendly. Every hotel room has an individual room outdoor patio with patio furniture, so you can enjoy the Arizona outdoors and watch the pool area. The bathroom amenities are wonderful - Moon Flower. I had a really fun time here and I recommend it highly. I will return and I will stay at the Hotel Valley Ho.

The spa was fabulous. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Overall very pleasant and will come back.
