Hotel was amazing, great food and very helpful staff. A couple of notes. You need to book the pool times in advance. There is no easy way to get to the Fota house on foot from the hotel. Many thanks to hotel for helpings us out. Breakfast was substantial

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had (and I do stay at 5-star places regularly). Spacious and clean room with great lighting and chairs and windows that open, and hooks, and big bottles of filtered water. Great food. The warmest, most welcoming staff ever, with sharp competent energy all of them, who never looked like they didn't want me to approach but instead were relaxed and made eye contact readily and seemed genuinely pleased to see me. I said once "I want to live here" and she said "we would love to have you" -- untrue I'm sure but SO KIND! Lovely garden, and many places to sit and relax and read and have tea. I genuinely cannot gush enough. Liam helped me hire a driver for a wonderful day out -- he is a treasure. THANK YOU HAYFIELD MANOR. I'll be back someday.

Unmatched Galway Bay views and the perfect family base! The Connemara Coast Hotel was the standout stay of our entire trip. We booked two nights here for our family of four (reserving two rooms, as larger family layouts weren't available), and check-in was a breeze. Highlights: The Views: The view across Galway Bay is simply unmatched. With the clear weather, it hardly looked real, and we even watched a cruise ship glide past the coast. Location & Day Trips: An easy drive into Galway City (budget a little time for city traffic/parking). The walking atmosphere reminded us of Temple Bar, and the Sunday open-air market with local vendors is well worth a visit. The Experience: Down time was wonderful—exploring the rugged shoreline right on the property, relaxing in the evenings, and soaking in the setting. If you are looking for breathtaking scenery, a great coastal location, and true Irish hospitality, this hotel is a must-stay. Highly recommended!

I like the location and the space. Breakfast is always hot and fresh. Staff were respectful. I would highly recommend this hot.

There are no words for how spectacular the Castle is. There are even fewer words to describe the professional, curious and attentiveness of the staff. From the minute we set foot on the grounds, we didn't want to leave - ever! Thank you to all at Ashford Castle. We will be back!!!
