The A?C was non existent. It was too hot in the rooms and the restairant. Our rooms smelled very badly. The breakfast was good. Most of the staff were great.

i booked two of the same rooms with the same price and yet one of the room had an outdated/old bathroom. when i raised this issue to the staff, they kept saying that all the rooms are outdated per usual and that there are no rooms to be switched into. if i pay for the same price, why am i getting one old room and one new room..? i guess i would have to make sure beforehand that i'm getting a newer room?

Hotel Lapad is a charming hotel in a lovely location.. My room had a small balcony with a beautiful side view of the sea, which I really enjoyed. However, considering the price, I expected the room to be a little more comfortable and updated. My experience with the front desk staff was mixed. Although they were helpful at times, their manner occasionally felt a bit unwelcoming, and I sometimes hesitated to approach them with questions or requests\. A warmer and more hospitality-focused attitude would make the overall guest experience much more enjoyable. Beautiful pool but not enough chairs for the guests.
