Although the staff fixed everything after being called, it was unusual for a hotel of this caliber to have these problems. First there wasn’t any coffee in the room to brew in the morning. Then the next morning the maid had apparently thrown away the lid of the coffee maker in the trash. They brought me a whole new coffee maker in a box that I had to cut open, unwrap and set up. Also the Netflix went out and it took two guys to fix it while we were gone. What the real problem with the hotel was how mediocre the food was at dinner and the free breakfast was so basic it was embarrassing. So much so when we told them how dried out the eggs were they said it was a different chef who wasn’t very good that day.

Room was not In main building and had stairs with no elevator. Was not aware when we made reservation. From an accident I was still using a cane for balance. Tried to change room but was told none available. Very disappointing And limiting.

Heading toward this site and never got notification I needed to check-in/register before 24 hrs of arrival. Making contact and in discussion with offsite (manager?) Was stressful up to point of checking in and without someone there( felt like I awoke them or intruded into a video game! ) If this is the new normal, I’m not on board with zero personal contact, yet didn’t reflect in a discount with the saving to the properties human infrastructure. Will need to double down next trip to make darn sure I’m paying for a warm body upon arrival or just stay home.
