Great hotel

Tiny room, but OK because the floor plan was excellent. Very nice hotel all inn all. Only slight negative: - Too much “green”, environment nagging. - Some of the staff spoke neither Norwegian nor English all that well.

We stayed in the junior suite and the room and view were spectacular! We had to leave early and the staff prepared us a breakfast bag to go. Wonderful! We were there for a wedding and the venue was so beautiful. Every attention to detail. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating.

Great hotel

This is an amazing place. Right on the Harbour and you can see the boats at the harbour from your window. The staff was extremely kind and very helpful. In particular, Edda (?) was an example of what this service should be. To top it off, breakfast afternoon, coffee/tea, and dinner were all free. This Home Hotel would get my top recommendation.

This is a budget hotel. If you want a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom, then it’s for you. If you want space and luxury, then it’s not. We’re the kind of travellers who just need a bed , a bathroom and a good breakfast (if possible), so the Smarthotel suited us very well. The buffet breakfast offered plenty of choice and was good value and the property was centrally located, and convenient for many of the sites, bars, restaurants and also buses. There was a spacious lounge on the ground floor where residents could sit, read, play games and eat The only real downside was the room reminded me a bit of a student hall room, with the bed against one wall and a desk on the other.
