Everything seemed very clean. The suite we stayed in was very nice. We ask for bedding for the pull out and we got more than expected with a comforter and two pillows. It may have had something to do with the hotel not being very busy the weekend we stayed, but we were still very pleased with everything. I recommend.

Quaint and classy property. The proximity to Lake Michigan and the downtown areas of St Joseph is absolutely incredible. Everything was within a 10 minute walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated historical hotel. Once we parked our car, we didn't get back in it until we left. Highly recommend grabbing some cocktails from the lounge in the basement that you have VIP access to and taking your drink up to the rooftop where you'll find a nice little fireplace and blankets...

Drive down a half mile driveway through the woods to reach the house. The house has many rooms set up for you to relax either alone or with others. The views overlook the river and are spectacular. Perfect place to unwind. The housekeeper was wonderfully welcoming and made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our visit by walking the trails, visiting the baby chicks, soaking in the hot tub and the in room jacuzzi tub. There is a lot of room to roam. The breakfast was so good and we left stuffed. When we left we were already talking about our return. It was a great stay.
