Weekend getaways in Long Beach

While the lower lobby and rooms felt a bit dated (which is odd considering this is a relatively new hotel), the location can't be beat. In addition, the staff was very friendly. Only complaint is the $50 resort fee which is supposed to include beach access, lounge chairs and towels. However, the beach is free for anyone after Labor Day and chairs aren't available at the end of September as the beach season is over. So basically $50 resort fee for beach towels?

The lacation was perfect, just few steps from the subway, Macy's one blk only, in the heart of Manhattan. Quiet and spacious room, marvelous views from Empire State!

Great spot, near Wall Street, The Bull, the subways, 911 Memorial, and more. Very clean room. Enjoyable stay, I will come back.

Very new interior. A good deal compared with other hotels in the area. Nice midtown location. Nearby subway and bus. Nice little cafe inside hotel (and bar in late afternoon and evening. Rooms while not large are big enough and larger than many hotels.

Hotel was conveniently located in midtown manhattan and close to many attractions. It was also close to a subway station which was great for our first time navigating the subway. Close to many food options as well

Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!

The staff were king and courteous. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located right in front of the famous L’industrie Pizza and down the street is Little Italy with many great restaurants. There famous caffe Paradiso is only a 7 min walk and a 5 min walk to Leons bagels! The hotel provided a free water dispenser down in their lobby as well as free coffee and teas. They also provide free yummy croissants in the mornings. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location; pleasant staff. Confused about cost of breakfast. Thought it was included, but was charged a large amount for the meals.

The Park Terrace is an antidote to large hotels. The check-in process is mercifully quick and painless - with real people to make sure that you get properly situated. This is a well maintained property in a safe walkable part of Midtown East. I would def stay here again (I'm tri-state and travel to the city often). One note for non-tech folks, there are no room keys, it's all done on your phone through an app. I've stay at hotels where this was an option, but for this hotel it is the only option. I'm a regular at Pod 39 when I come to NYC by myself. It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. Always clean and my room is always ready when I arrive (which has not been my experience at other NYC hotels).
