Weekend getaways in Leominster

For the wedding we stayed at our very first B&B. Howarth House Bed and Breakfast in Fitchburg, Mass. It is a beautiful house built in 1910. The current owners, Sarah and Ryan purchased the house in 2020. The owners were friendly, kind, accommodating and Ryan can sure cook a great breakfast. Sarah presented us with a departing gift of her homemade Blueberry and white chocolate scones. Delicious! The room was comfortable, the location quiet and we will definitely be back. The view from the deck was amazing. It overlooked a lake and Mount Monadanock. Our room was spacious and clean. The hosts were lovely people. They had a refrigerator stocked with wine and beer and they put out cookies in the afternoon. Breakfast was delicious and on the morning we had to leave before breakfast, they packed some bread and fruit for us.

Terrific stay. Hotel did an amazing job with keeping the guests safe during COVID. Extremely clean. Knowledgeable about all things COVID related. Very impressed and grateful.

Check-in was quick and staff were very friendly, even though we arrived late at night

The building was gorgeous. Staff checked us in with no pro9blem, and the food at the restaurant was top notch. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a great restaurant right across the street. A special treat was waking up to taps in the morning! Overall, a great stay!

The outside is under renovation. This is a family owned hotel. The owners are super kind hardworking and pleasant people. They are reasonable if you are reasonable. I truly enjoyed my stay and how clean the room was.

The room was clean. They have made improvements. There are now hair dryers in the room and they have installed a coat rack. We had a very enjoyable stay for my class reunion. The only real amenity is 24 hr coffee in the lobby and the ice machine. Restaurants and laundry are within walking distance . Thus was our 2nd time staying at this hotel and I will definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed for Valentine’s Day and upon arriving we were greeted with kindness and 2 glasses of champagne! Check in was perfect. The room was perfect. Definitely one of my favorite hotels for sure. We also ate at my favorite restaurant right 10 steps across the street! We could literally see the entrance right from our room window. It was a beautiful experience here.

Stay was great, room was clean, water Pressure great, bed nice and comfy. Breakfast was filling. Staff was courteous and friendly. Easy on/off highway but very quiet! The only downfall was no room darkening shades.

My only complaint would be that the restaurant closed early some nights... I was often rushing back from meetings and hoping to grab a late night bite... but the kitchen staff went home early

Very comfortable stay for me and my dogs for 5 nights. Excellent breakfast options, very friendly staff, everything you really need for any kind of extended stay. I would stay again if in the area. It felt very easy and convenient, safe and quiet.

Beautiful hotel, very modern, enjoyed the daily breakfast. The pool and gym areas are spotless and up-to-date. The staff was absolutely wonderful - very attentive, couldn't be more helpful. The area itself has plenty of dining options at all price points, great shopping, and of course the Apex Center. The ONLY issue that I had with this hotel was the bathroom lock. One night it locked by itself while my husband was in there, and was almost impossible to unlock. Almost had to call the staff at...
