I recently traveled to Barbados early June for my birthday. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly; they checked in on my friends and I daily and gave us great advice of places to visit, places to eat and booked a catamaran excursion for us that picked us up and dropped us off. Beautiful, clean hotel located on a perfect stretch of sandy beach. But what really made the difference was the friendliness of the entire staff. The restaurant and bar staff always extend a pleasant greeting and you will get to know them. The front desk helped me arrange tours of the island. They make you feel welcome at their hotel and glad you picked Barbados. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, and I definitely would stay there again.

This was by far the best vacation I have ever been on (which has been quiet a few). The resort was 15 minutes from the airport, it was stunning with amazing views of the ocean, beach was clean, the staff was extremely accommodating and everyone seemed happy to be there and to help you. The staff were all great, but Julie-Ann and the security guard were exceptional!! They were kind, helpful, and went above and beyond with making my stay enjoyable. I traveled alone and had a few problems that they both didn't hesitate to assist me with. :) The hotel doesn't have an elevator so you may not want to pack heavy. It's located close to restaurants, the beach, bus stop and other events etc. The room was a decent size and clean.

We've been coming to Divi Southwinds for 28 years ... location, location, location ... property well groomed ... rooms clean and comfortable ... staff is always helpful ... new restaurant on water is lovely ... menu good, food prep great but slow, presentation excellent, quality fresh, servers attentive, pricing in line ... all the ammenities for a great family vacation ..

From the airport pickup to Tameka setting me up in a Fantastic room that has everything one could need, from Ricardo being the utmost professional gentleman and best security to make me feel safe secure and comfortable.. it's a gem, it's quiet & peaceful and if your looking for the noise & crowds Just walk down to the gap, market and bus stops near & it's really a perfect spot to rest, relax, eat, swim in blue waters. It felt like home away from home. The owner was very helpful and have us a taxi to do the important stuff. I didn’t regret picking this place I spent 7 days there. And I’ll definitely be back again

I booked this stay to surprise my partner for his birthday. I had several special requests that I made for our restaurant reservation as well as our room set-up and the response every time was “of course no problem”. I was consistently impressed with the personal attention we were given as guests for our short stay. The host and property were welcoming and ready to accommodate our stay. A taxi driver was arranged in order to navigate our way around the island. Breakfast was copiously prepared as requested and minor details throughout the trip were cared for. Thank you to the hots!

We stayed 3 nights on our first trip to Barbados. The hotel is lovely and the room was very comfortable. The staff was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer, but we booked at the last minute and they were completely booked. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. We will be back someday!

From the moment we checked in (on our honeymoon) until we left 6 days later our experience was awesome. The general manager took the time to learn our name, greet us upon arrival and again as we left. Fellow guests were all friendly. My rental car's battery died and they took care of everything while we were off playing golf. The food, especially daily breakfast, was fabulous. All needs were anticipated without request necessary. All-in-all, a great trip (I highly recommend Barbados as well).

The property is centrally located, especially for Oistins. It is located off Lodge Road, so it’s on a bus route with buses readily available for going to Bridgetown and surrounding areas. The host was impeccable. Wi-Fi was reliable and consistent.

Well spent four days, very relaxing if you are looking for time away from the hustle. Will definitely be returning with the family.
