Weekend getaways in Springfield

This was an excellent place to stay! My wife and I drove down from Cleveland to do some antiquing before New Years Eve and it is in a perfect location. This historical home is very well maintained and the attention to detail is fantastic. The bed was amazing and slept better here than we did at home! Ron, the owner, was a pleasure to have conversations with throughout our stay. He truly is a genuine man and could not have asked for a better stay. Will plan to stay again in the summer. In town for a musical at the John Legend Theatre. Convenient to all the places we needed to be. Nice property and good value.

Overall the stay was good. One reason I can't say great is because it is under going remodeling which is a good thing. Our rooms didn't seem to be updated yet. We had one suite and one standard room. We stayed for 4 nights and the beds were never made up in the room with the suites. I wasn't staying in that room. I wasn't told from the family members that were staying in that room that the beds were not being made up daily until the last night. I did not address it with the hotel. I am...

It was a wonderful stay, and the neighborhood around offered great cappuccinos wish there were assigned parking for guests, as it was hard to park with meetings going on, but otherwise thumbs up all the way

We have stayed here before and always get great service and was nice to have the hot breakfast again.

Proximity to restaurants and to Interstate was perfect.

Quiet room and quiet AC/heater. Linens were crisply clean, towels were fluffy and fresh. Room was pleasant. A great night's rest. I was looking for an affordable hotel near my business meeting location and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the night that I had.

From start to finish this was a positive stay. At check-in, the desk clerk was very friendly and attentive. The location has been around for a while and while the desk area and lobby floors have been updated, the lobby furniture has seen some better days. A very nice touch is that the management has added what may be personal items including ornate chests, tables and a display case with many decorative items. Clean and affordable place to stay, friendly staff.

I liked the cleanliness and maintenance of property. I did not like that the gift shop was "woke" with predominately lgbt and "pride" merchandise. Foreknowledge of this would have influenced our decision.

Very friendly staff! Comfy and clean rooms. My girls and I loved the game room. It was well stocked with board games and table top games. Check out was a breeze. We will definitely stay there again if we’re in the area! Highly recommend!

Clean and up to date property. Friendly people and a great continental breakfast with many options. Even had a happy hour which was a pleas t surprise at our arrival. Would definitely recommend next time we come through.

We stayed here for the eclipse and couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel was clean, the staff was kind and efficient, and there was plenty of parking available.

The rooms were very nice and clean and pet friendly. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was nice and served hot. We would 100% stay there again.
