Weekend getaways in Thousand Islands

This was the perfect spot for us, but know that it's not a traditional hotel. It's an old limestone manor house that has been converted into well-stocked short-term apartments. There isn't regular housekeeping or always-onsite staff as there would be in a hotel, but any questions we had were answered very quickly, and we didn't find this difference to be an issue. Wonderful hosts, delicious chef prepared breakfast, lovely accommodation, lots of interesting musical instruments, books, artwork etc. very easy to get to town 2 minute walk but ina very quiet area perfect.

A gem of a find…beautiful property and staff was excellent. Was surprised rooms were not equipped with microwave or coffeemaker (although reach floor provided free coffee service in mornings.

What a lovely experience, start to finish! Beautiful accommodations, wonderful food, serene setting.

The room was clean, updated and quiet. Easy to get to and close to town.

This is not my first time staying here and I am hesitant to share how lovely it is as I don't want everyone else to find out how nice it is.

This is one of the nicest places to stay.very nice people and they took care very well. Very spacious room, well organized breakfast, cordial and friendly interactions !! Certainly this location is high up in the small little town

We have nothing but great things to say about the Woodview Inn and about John, Steve and all the staff. The room was immaculate, the entire property, inside and out, is gorgeous! John and Steve were the most wonderful hosts. We also had dinner at the Inn’s Graydon Restaurant which turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we had. The food and service is on par with Castle Hill in Newport, RI!

Dated design from the outside but very clean and updated on the inside. We were very pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend.

Friendly people, got in 90 minutes later than planned and Friendly helpful staff checked us in. Great multi room apt w view, very nice continental breakfast waiting for us in the morning. Walked to 3 hour boat tour and walked back for late lunch, many levels above pub fare!!

Perfect speedy check-in. Kathy the Inn keeper provided the perfect balance of privacy and friendliness. She was available, helpful and informative as we needed. Breakfast was truly gourmet and delicious. Daily afternoon tea and cookies were the perfect snack after a day about town. Inn was well accompanied and we lacked for nothing. Beautiful place. We are going back!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and my birthday in Qananonque staying at the 1000 Islands B&B Bulloch House. Our host was most gracious, attended to our every need, and provided a spectacular breakfast each morning to fortify us for the day’s activities. The Bulloch House is conveniently located in walking distance to the visitors center, parks, many, many different ethnic restaurants and several boat tours to explore the 1000 Islands and Boldt Castle on Heart Island. Great location in an historic village. We wish we had more time to explore the area. The hotel we comfortable and safe. Lake views were an added bonus.
