Weekend getaways in Minden

We needed a place to stay for the night where we could park our truck and RV safely while getting a good night’s rest and a meal. This place checked all of the boxes for us, including accommodations for the smoker so he didn’t have to keep meandering through the halls to get outside to smoke. We stayed here for 1 night, after skiing in Kirkwood. Loved the hotel. The rooms are super spacious and eveything was to our liking. Will defn stay here again rather than south lake tahoe while skiing in Kirkwood.

Asked for a handicap room. The room was nice and clean. The walk in shower was nice but needed a removable shower head to reach the shower chair.

We loved staying here! Unfortunately we had a last minute change to our stay but Dana was able to accommodate us and made sure we were taken care of. The room was spacious and we appreciated the tea and coffee service. Super comfortable bed after a long road trip. Very convenient to the Whole Foods and area restaurants. Incredibly quiet room. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was spic N span! The staff was so helpful, courteous and accommodating. Due to no air conditioning & opening the window, the ceiling fan was just not enough for cooling. I would recommend making the wall unit a duel combo making it AC & Heat. The staff were kind, helpful and truly on top of things. I was in the valley the weekend of the Genoa cowboy festival and it was just a hop, skip and a jump down the road. It's close to shops and convenience stores, for those just-in-case items! The best Mexican food place in the town, Francisco's, is less than a mile north along the highway. It was just a lovely time!

This is a family owned lodge, and yes it feels like home, the owner is always helpful and friendly and run the business with hearts and effort! Visited there last weekend! During the winter storm, wow it's been a long time since last time I saw this much snow, so fun, but almost got stuck in Tahoe LOL, 50/88/80 were all closed and waited 3 hour to get out. This is my second time here. We had a great time. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing. It was just what we needed for our time off away from work.

I loved that the property was within walking distance to literally everything! We walked to the state line for the events attended. The Inn was clean and didn’t have any strong smells like chemicals cleaners or even an old musty smell. I don’t care where I stay so long as the room and bed I sleep in is clean! Everything about this property was great to me. Clean rooms, furnishings, bathroom amenities, and comfortable beds. I'll definitely return and stay longer, very cozy room and property overall.

I booked the room based on the photos I saw -- and my room exceeded even those expectations. The room itself was much larger than I expected. Again, upgraded -- flat screen TV, electric fireplace that kept me warm throughout the cold night, King bed with soft sheets, soft blanket, beautiful coverlet, large soft pillows. Desk is only open from 7am to 9pm. We typically arrive late, so thankfully we got in around 8:30 pm! I get cold seats even now at how close we were to sleeping in our car!
