Definitely staying again! Shot out to Zac and the gentleman at the check in desk. Everyone was so helpful from the start to finish. Benny’s on the Beach is a great spot right on corner of hotel, great for lunch on the beach.

Great Spot to go with kids. As a single mom, I am always looking for hotels where I can have everything with easy access and handy for the kids. So having the restaurant and front beach for me was the best thing. I also liked their safety options with the elevator and at night.

Staff friendly and accommodating. Room/suite clean. Sleeps 6, but crowded, especially with 1 bathroom. No coffee available throughout the day/evening. Breakfast is “free” (included), but the same fare everyday. Front of hotel very small/awkward to accommodate unloading and loading. Not enough carts available. Only 2 elevators—not enough to accommodate 20 floors of guests. Common areas, especially areas in front of elevators on each floor not kept clean. Pool area not clean. Don’t know if we would book here in the future.

The property was well maintained and clean. The only issue was we were there for 3 days and never had service in our room. We had to go the front desk and ask for clean towels. Not really a big deal but worth mentioning

The hotel and surrounding areas are lovely. The checkin checkout process was a hassle. Very cramped area to load/unload, then have to pay to park across the street. Had to wait 45 mins to get a cart to load luggage before leaving.. no heads up on this. Staff did their best but were not interested in problem solving. No room service, and would not allow us to borrow a menu to our room to decide what we wanted. Our option was come down to the bar and order period. That doesn’t work for everyone. Bottom line is we intentionally paid more for an upscale experience and the service just isn’t there.

Overall, this was a perfect spot for a vacation. It is in a great location. As a family of four with two kids under the age of 5, it was helpful to have everything we needed in walking or trolley distance. The morning breakfast was perfect for what we needed, and the rooms were spacious and came with a beautiful view. The 4 stars came from the staff, check=in process, and housekeeping. Check in was chaotic as the overhang has very limited space, and with a lot of people checking in at once, it got jammed up very quick. Additionally, on my particular check in day, the manager decided to have two brand new employees work together to train one another which drastically slowed down my check in. The two individuals were very kind, but I thought it was an unfair situation for them to be put into at such a busy time. Our room, although great, was left with a huge pile of sand, and housekeeping came in two times over the course of our stay with one of the times being an explicit request on our behalf.

I am not an AI. Before visiting Hyatt house i was having seconds thoughts because off a few reviews i read. But visiting hyatt house VA it was all BS the front desk was welcoming and attendees were fantastic. Place was great view was amazing. Parking yess wish they had on property but it right across the street in a parking garage. If u wanna stay some place relaxing its here. Came with my wife and my 2 boys thanks again see u next year
