Really nice hotel! Felt a little like home away from home. Staff is very friendly and even brought us chocolates made on Madeira. Roof top pool and view is amazing!

This was my second time staying at Cliff bay and it was even more exceptional than the first. The have very low employee turnover so you are remembered which was very nice:-) The food is world class and the accommodations were amazing, I am already planning my next visit!!!

It was lovely fine days full of comfort from the always helpful stuff, gorgeous garden to walk and relax in, and a marvelous cliff overlooking the marina and sea of Funchal. The balcony/terrace was south oriented - full of flowers in pots, with a sunshade, table and chairs - lovely place to take a glass in the evening. The only small minus was a bit of possible noise from neighbour's room, but that wasn't a problem, rather just a notice.

My husband and I stayed four nights and had a very positive experience. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The hotel has a low density in terms of number of rooms and a relaxing atmosphere was prevalent. The breakfast buffet (included in price) was excellent and provided a good variety of good quality choices. The pool, while outdoors, was heated sufficiently to allow a swim even when the temperature was on the chilly side. The room was clean...

The property was gorgeous and in a great central location. Their breakfast was superior and the rooms were very tidy and spacious. We would stay there again.

The Hotel had a shuttle to and from the old town of Funchal which was convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This was the cleanest and most user friendly place that we have stayed at. I would recommend this Hotel to every one .

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at editory Ocean Way funchal . The rooms were very comfortable, we got a beautiful balcony with Ocean View that was spectacular. The hotel is definitely a five star . Love the bathrobes and the slippers to be able to go to the spa . Luxurious pool towels were provided. And special call out for Andrea, Mikaela and Sophia at the front desk, and Catarina in the restaurant. We prearranged a number of excursions and they helped us with all the arrangements. Great...

The level of service, courtesy and kindness demonstrated by the staff was the best I have ever experienced anywhere! The facilities were lovely, very clean, and spacious. Food in all four restaurants was excellent (especially the Med) with great variety and quality. And we loved the breakfasts! I would return in a heartbeat.

Perfect location. Great breakfast. Easy parking. Great services. Very clean and safe. Hot tub and pool were welcome after long hard hike in mountains of Madeira. Walkable area.
