Great place, friendly staff. Comfortable accommodations with a nice breakfast. Pool is wonderful during the summer months. There are 2 great places to eat across the street right by the river-Farmhand & Stumptown brewery-very convenient. Also convenient to Armstrong Woods. Will be back!

We liked everything at the lodge except the bed.

Cant say this enough, our group LOVED Highland Resorts in Guerneville and want to return. The cabins are beautiful and comfortable. The people friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a retreat type atmosphere this is a wonderful place to be.

It's a beautiful, quiet place right above the shore, with a gorgeous view from the main dining room. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff throughout. The Coast Kitchen offered excellent food. We loved the Timber Cove Resort!

Great location and nice spacious room with a lovely view of the river. The room had a nice patio to enjoy and comfortable club chairs inside to enjoy the view with our coffee in the morning. The room had a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator so we could enjoy food in our room. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to Covid but we were given a bag continental breakfast consisting of fruit, yogurt and a pastry. Very nice get away and we would recommend.

Beautiful place! The staff was extremely personable, friendly and helpful. Got an upgraded room, which was impeccably clean, modern, yet cozy. So many lovely touches that made this a great stay, like the complimentary hot apple cider, staff knowing you by name, and watercolor map of the property. Delicious breakfast, and also highly recommend the dinner tasting menu! Will definitely be returning! Centrally located within the Russian River area.

So the Inn and receptionists, waitstaff fine dining restaurant were great. Food was phenomenal too. But the majority of the staff at the restaurant across the street were cold, unfriendly and a bunch of prudes. I politely asked one of the waiters if i could sit at the bar and he said “Well can you? Like physically. Go see the hostess she needs to do a headcount.” I go see the hostess and she was like hmm 1 person not sure let me see. Made a face and spoke to her colleague. Enjoyed very much, however, expectation of adult oriented environment disturbed by a number of young children and crying baby. Hope this is more closely observed by the property.

Lovely property located in a beautiful area. The photos online matches in real life, as in no heavy airbrushing. Staff are courteous ,friendly and professional. Quiet surroundings. Great cocktails at the bar! We are a fan of this establishment.

This is a wonderful,beautiful, and relaxing place to stay. The owners upgraded our room at no extra charge because they wanted us to have one of the best rooms. We had a private deck with a hot tub, bbq, and a fireplace in the room. It was very romantic and relaxing. We didn't want to leave. All rooms have an excellent view overlooking the ocean. Its location is above Fort Ross and is one mile from Timber Cove. This is the best place to stay in the area and is close to Salt Point State Park.

This hotel is truly 5 stars. The staff was very accommodating upon arrival. The room was eloquent and inspiring with classical music already playing when we entered. After a long day of tastings, we were not in the mood to attend our dinner reservations, so thankfully the staff allowed us to order from the restaurant, Chalkboard, although it was a bit after the restaurant was technically 'closed'. The room was nice clean and comfortable the staff was welcoming parking I used the valet parking and there's plenty of shops nearby definitely a go-to while staying in Santa Rosa

The hotel grounds were lovely, and the room was comfortable and spacious, but the overall service, while friendly, is not as good as it should be for the price. The front desk completely neglected to tell us about any of the "extras", like the free wine tastings at Ferrari-Carrano vineyards (value of $35 per person), the complimentary daily wine tasting at the hotel, and the corkage fee waiver at John Ashe for bottles purchased at Ferrari-Carrano ($25 value).
