The place is very clean, quiet, the staff are very attentive and helpful. I recommend it 100 percent to relax as a family or as a couple, we will return if God allows it.

The Inn as well as the staff are top notch. We felt instantly comfortable and charmed by the place. The night we arrived, they put some out cold beverages and cookies. We were exhausted from driving, so just being able to chill on the porch after checking in with a beverage transitioned us from "travel" mode to "relaxed" mode. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and breakfast both days was delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing weekend getaway!

Beautiful b&b decorated like in the fifties each room had a team. We loved the game room and the diner's kitchen. Everything is authentic 50's

I love this hotel it is nice and clean. I have nothing negative to say. The employees are respectful and kind. My room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We will be back again hopefully in September before the summer ends.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Bedford Inn and we were more than impressed. Immediately upon arriving we were greeted by the owner, "Archie" and he spent close to a half an hour giving us a tour of the property and explaining the policies and ammenities. After which he stayed to answer all of our questions regarding the surrounding area, being it was our first overnight stay in Cape May. Great off season stay. Very nice location, room and facility.

A lovely, quiet tucked away motel in a beautiful town. The room is comfortable and clean, there are only 8 rooms which is nice. Perfect for couples or families. We had a wonderful time at the very clean beach and enjoyed a stroll in the center of town on 96th Street. I was able to rent a beach chair provided by the hotel and a parking spot for each room is provided. So peaceful at night and really felt relaxed after the trip. Definitely will go back. Everything was excellent! The only concern was that there was often too much noise in the hallways at night and that should’ve been controlled by staff.

I feel like we really lucked out with this stay. Planned only 2 weeks prior, we booked accommodations last minute and took a chance on Avondale. It was perfect! Right on Beach Ave. in Cape May, we had view of the ocean from our balcony area. Upon booking, I received a call within 30 minutes from Avondale to confirm our stay and to ask us if we were OK with with walking up the stairs to 2nd or 3rd floor as there is no elevator. Not a problem for us and the 2nd floor facing the beach was perfect....

This is the 2nd time we have statyed at this property in the last 12 months and we love it. It’s one of a few places that has two queen beds so that’s always a plus for us. The property itself is beautiful and the rooms are roomy and feel very airy. We had a room with the balcony and used it for morning coffee. It’s also nice there is a microwave, mini fridge, plates, cups etc. The location is not right in town but you are right across the st from the beach and they provide a free shuttle around...

This historic hotel has charm and character while providing all of the modern amenities you could want. Walking into the lobby is like entering another era-a simpler time for sure. This feels instantly relaxing and made for a great winter getaway. The proximity to the beach and the boardwalk make it ideal for walking around to the water and the restaurants! It was incredibly peaceful in this quiet, off-season time of year!
