The service was over the top! From the front desk to the cleaning staff, everyone was friendly and always looking to do more. Room and hotel had a boutique feel that you don't see with the chain hotels. Also the location is ideal. One block off the action. Duval street is loud and crazy, but turn into the hotel and it suddenly becomes quite and comfortable. We will definitely be back

The room was clean and neat, everyone is very friendly and helpful. So glad we booked this place last minute. The best time we've ever had in Key west. You will not get anything more authentic than this place. Loved it!

The Douglas House served as a perfect home base while in Key West. The location allows for easy access to all Duval has to offer. Really enjoyed being able to hear the national anthem being played every morning at 8 from the Navy base..

Absolutely loved our 5 night stay this past week at Orchid Key!! What a fabulous adult only boutique hotel located just steps off of Duval! We stayed in a Deluxe King the first night because we added on a night at the front end of our trip and it was just off of the pool area and very cozy. Loved the large shower and the room was so clean! Lots of fluffy towels and little extras like free waters and cookies and peppermints were left in the room. We stayed here on our way back from key west to lighten trip to FLL airport. We were in love with this place! Every thing about it, location, the high ceilings, the incredibly comfortable beds-the brand new smell of all dwellings. I also was in love with the toiletries that were provided!!! Never have I love a hotel toiletry before. All staff was very professional and friendly. Wonderful trip. Great hotel but not for those who have issues with stairs unless they ask for one of the first floor rooms or bungalows. Would stay there again. Wish they served food though.

The views and the sunset was spectacular. A lots of good restaurants by walking distance.

Walkable location. Older hotel, newly refurbished rooms. Great air conditioning. Nice pool. Omelet station for breakfast. Kind , helpful staff, would stay here again

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Property was very clean. Kayaks, bikes, ping pong table, cornhole, hammocks, picnic tables, 2 heated pools, lounge chairs, beach towels, coffee, all at our disposal, and free of charge. Restaurant on premises.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! H-keeping was reliable in regards to linens/towels but a bit inconsistent when refreshing room amenities (coffee cups, etc).

Great staff friendly as hell. Had a great time relaxed and the place is A1 highly recommend it. I’ll probably be going next week again.

Classic keys hotel. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Area was very quiet, but close to other things. I would stay again and would recommend to others

This was perfect for our family. We brought nanny, and got the two bedroom. Our young girls slept on the pull out couch. Pool is beautiful, cute bar. No beach… the pictures on the website trick you into thinking beach is right there. They also don’t clean your room everyday.

THIS WAS AWESOME, GREAT STAFF, SUPER FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL MANAGER ON SITE DAILY. A QUIET WELL MAINTAINED AND TRULY CARED ABOUT 11 UNIT MOTEL ON THE OCEAN. VERY CLEAN, LARGE ROOMS, GREAT BED!! COOKING FRESH FISH ON THE NICE PROVIDED GAS GRILLS WAS INCREDIBLE.. AWESOME VIEWS, LOTS OF TROPICAL FOLIAGE AND WILDLIFE SURROUNDS. I WILL GO BACK AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.. FIREPITS LIT UP THE SCENE AS THE SUN SET. AWESOME..MISS IT !! FREE KAYAKS FOR GUESTS..

The grounds of the property are absolutely beautiful. The gardens are well-maintained and we loved perusing them. Both pool areas are wonderful, and the amenities such as the bathhouse, lounge, library, and BBQ area are first rate. The room was to our liking and matched the aesthetic of Key West. Walking distance to nearby attractions was approximately 10 minutes and very easy, and the bakery just down the street was wonderful for breakfast, lunch, or a quick snack. We will absolutely stay again...

I loved the apartment, it was very comfortable. The pool area was amazing. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel several times. It is very nice, It’s nice that they have a separate area for adults. They also have 3 in house places to eat, a tiki bar for lunch, a roof top for breakfast and bar in the evening and a restaurant for dinner (didn’t go to this one though). They include free paddle boards and kayaks. The rooms could have better A/C, they added another portable fan and seem to be having issues with A/C, hopefully will be resolved soon. Also they don’t have room service...

Nothing crazy about the rooms but had all the necessities. Very nice area behind the property looking out over the water. Room was clean and staff was helpful and friendly. For the price compared to other in the area it’s a steal.
