Last-minute hotel deals in Eastern Shore

The Fairfield Inn on US50 has become our go-to mid-range hotel in Easton. We have stayed here several times in recent years, and once again had a great experience during this Christmas stay. The facilities are clean and in good condition. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. When I booked our stay this time through a third-party, I got a little confused about room options, and took the only king-bed room that I saw. Absolutely no complaints about our stay. Allowed an early time to check in and a hour late check out. Quiet place right on the boardwalk far enough away from public parking that it wasn’t crowded. If there is any complaint it would be minimum parking to where the overflow parking gets completely full that we were lucky to even get a spot in there. I wouldn’t even call that a complaint, just find your spot and that’s that. Balcony was spacious for us to play card games late night with 6-8 people....

I took a solo trip and picked the perfect spot. This family owned inn is great for a family trip, a romantic getaway, or for a quiet escape by yourself. The owners are such a welcoming family and made me feel very like VIP. I will be going back and recommend Sandaway to anyone looking for that getaway in the Eastern Shore. Beautiful place, quiet and clean.

We had a wonderful two night stay at the hotel. The marina is beautiful with nightly rentals if needed. Our first stay and we will return. Great staff very helful. If you are looking for a peacefull,tranquil location you will like it.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is refreshing, and I love the benches overlooking the waters and jetty from which you can view a lot of nature. There is always complimentary coffee and tea and apples available as well as filtered water. The best for me is that the property is on the Cross Island Trail so I can enjoy a walk/run or bike ride (you can rent bikes) to Terrapin Nature Park on the other side of Kent Island. We stayed here before and came back because it is such a nice place to stay. The staff is warm and friendly. I love all the colors in the hotel. And it's right on the Boardwalk!

The Lighthouse Hotel is very nice with large suites and a beautiful view of the bay. You can walk to the beach or to many great area restaurants and nightclubs. I loved the nightly turn down service. The staff lights candles, leaves breakfast for you & puts chocolates on the pillows.

I have been to many Hotels in Ocean City over the years. This one rates at the top for cleanliness and the staff was great. I will be returning when I can.

Everything was good with checkin ,check out, and the room. The only complaint I can voice is with the breakfast service attendant. She was not very warm or inviting, did not speak to guest. She did have everything out and the area clean, but at the end of breakfast time, she removed all plates and bowls first so no one could get anything else to eat. We were late eating on our 3rd morning, but were in time to get our food before she started putting away. But then put chairs on the tables so...

I stayed here for a quick overnight and did not utilize many of the amenities however, the staff was incredibly kind overall and with tips on dinner. This place is historic, which is a nice way of saying old but classic. Don’t expect a huge room, the photos portray the room accurately. Some things were a little rickety, but everything was clean. Overall I recommend this if you’re solo or a couple looking for a place as you enjoy the bay.

I enjoyed the cleaniless of the property, the quality of the food in the restaurant in the hotel, the meal deal coupons offered (even though I couldn't get them because I booked through a 3rd party).

Perfect location, beautiful place, quiet and amazing view, many wonderful bars and restaurants within walking distance. Didn’t have to moved the truck all 5 days there. Jolly Rogers was wonderful and good for kids and families. Really enjoyed and recommend this place. 10 out of 10.

Only thing I would ask is more lighting in the bathroom All the employees were very professional and kind

The young women who checked us in & the women who checked us out were efficient and delightful. The rooms were excellent in every way especially the beds, pillows & sheets! Such an immaculately clean hotel everywhere.

Highly recommend staying here again on next family vacation

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, location is fantastic. Parking was a bit challenging especially if you come in later in the evening.
