Last-minute hotel deals in Provence

This is one of the most wonderful and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very large (even by US standards), the breakfast was fantastic, but the people were beyond all expectations. Henri, Veldi, Dominique, and Norwin (the folks who manage and run the place) are the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly and kind people you will meet as a traveler. Truly an exceptional visit. There are no downsides. Just fantastic.

Exceptional place with an excellent host. Everything was perfect. We ended up choosing to forego an afternoon of site-seeing just to lounge around the pool in the court yard. The host and his family went above and beyond to make our stay the best couple of days during our two weeks in France.

First of all, the location is just great. Right around the corner from the Musee Granet, only about 4 short blocks over from the Cours Mirabeau and oldest part of the city, less than 10 minutes (on foot) to the Fontaine de la Rotonde, and not far from the Hotel de Caumont museum. The street is very quiet, and has no cars - except taxis that can lower the access control posts. Just a block from the Rue d'Italie, with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Set in the countryside, this vineyard boutique hotel with its gourmet French restaurant was a perfect way to end our 2-week vacation touring the south of France. It does require that you have a car or driver because youre outside the typical tourism route. Great!

We had a lovely stay at this charming little B&B in Avignon, run by a very kind and warm-hearted couple. Neither of the owners spoke fluent English, but we were able to communicate perfectly well using a translation app. I also did my best to practice my elementary French, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. ELEGANT! Our stay at Villa Saint Ange was simply wonderful - staff friendly and considerate, restaurant delicious, room superb!

All was amazing

Friendly staff, very clean room and bathroom, to a point with the scent of those big name hotel chains. Very convenient, covered all the basic needs. However for those who prefer something more quaint, perhaps take a look at Saint Anne or Auberge Des Glycines.

Right in the center of the action during the festival! We loved the location! Many amenities to enjoy- the breakfast was particularly convenient for early mornings.

Although we only stayed one day, we enjoyed our time there. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the desk staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Not being familiar with Aix-en-Provence, she gave us a map and marked some good places to visit in a day, along with making some restaurant suggestions. The hotel’s location was also great for us as it’s right next to the Old Town and we could easily walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. Finally, the buffet breakfast was delicious,...

The only complaint is a comfortable chair in the living room would be good and two hand towels in the bathroom.
