Room was very clean. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. Ample parking. Never heard any noise outside of the room. Beds were comfortable. Plumbing/shower worked without a hitch. Breakfast was surprisingly abundant with choices. A very pleasant surprise overall in terms of quality and value. Would absolutely recommend.

This was my second stay. That should say it all. No, this is not a big glitzy chain. It's conveniently located, clean, quiet & very affordable. If the hotel experience is a major part of your vacay then this place is not for you. But if you are in the area to enjoy activities in & around the Madison area then this place is perfect. It's a part of Madison history. The staff is wonderful. And you get a voucher for a free beer at the supper club next door.

The room was very nice / spacious and the bathroom was very clean. The pool area was impeccable and the lobby area of the hotel is nice for grabbing a free cup of coffee and reading/chatting, etc.
The breakfast (included) offered a nice range of hot and cold options and all were tasty.
Would definitely stay here again!
