Last-minute hotel deals in Gardnerville

The staff were kind, helpful and truly on top of things. I was in the valley the weekend of the Genoa cowboy festival and it was just a hop, skip and a jump down the road. It's close to shops and convenience stores, for those just-in-case items! The best Mexican food place in the town, Francisco's, is less than a mile north along the highway. It was just a lovely time!

We needed a place to stay for the night where we could park our truck and RV safely while getting a good night’s rest and a meal. This place checked all of the boxes for us, including accommodations for the smoker so he didn’t have to keep meandering through the halls to get outside to smoke. So rare these days to find a hotel that still has any dedicated smoking rooms! Desk staff was friendly and efficient at check-in and we found our room easily with her specific instructions. Asked for a handicap room. The room was nice and clean. The walk in shower was nice but needed a removable shower head to reach the shower chair.

We stayed here for 1 night, after skiing in Kirkwood. Loved the hotel. The rooms are super spacious and eveything was to our liking. Will defn stay here again rather than south lake tahoe while skiing in Kirkwood.

The room was very spacious and clean. This hotel was extremely quiet and in a beautiful location. We loved our stay here! I only have one suggestion of hotel staff… please consider putting a large trash can outside in the gazebo area! We among others enjoyed sitting under it to look at the lake and relax, but in the wind lots of things were blowing around loudly that shouldn’t have been there… mainly about 6 old beer cans.if a trash can is there I think this issue would be less likely 🙂...

The room was spic N span! The staff was so helpful, courteous and accommodating. Due to no air conditioning & opening the window, the ceiling fan was just not enough for cooling. I would recommend making the wall unit a duel combo making it AC & Heat. Besides excellent lodging accommodations, the recommendations for restaurants were excellent - the Stonefly offers the best fine dining. From wetlands vistas to mountain views across the street this place is quiet, peaceful, has pools, spas, salons, great food and service.

Very charming, cute and cozy great location. However, there was no cable service no remote control, and no soap in the shower.

This is the cleanest and nicest Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in!! I am so impressed with the amenities that this motel has that other upper tier Hotels in this area can’t compare to. I’ll be staying here frequently and enjoying the beautiful pool while it’s hot outside!!

This is my second time here. We had a great time. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing. It was just what we needed for our time off away from work.

Some stuff like breakfast wasn't very good and they run out so fast of food and dishes and stuff my tv never work but overall was fine all clean an cozy..friendly staff.
