There aren't many hotel options in the area, so this place stands out with its location on the lake and its facilities - a gas station, convenience store, RV parking. Despite its signs of ageing, the hunting/fishing motives of its design are still stylish, and the room cleanliness and amenities are solid.
For the occasional guest with a family, I don't mind meandering lost through the casino trying to find the hotel registration, I get that it is catering to a different crowd. But I could not stand the (very expensive) restaurant service. I waited for 1.5h for my order (no exaggeration, we saw several other customers just get up and leave). And on top of that, the free WiFi was just horrible - spotty, weak, and constantly disconnecting. In today's technology age, there simply no excuse for that. If management thought this is a minor inconvenience compared to their bigger focus on the casino experience, I have two words for them: wrong bet.
