Beautiful updated oceanfront patio with lounges, chairs and umbrellas that overlook the beach 🏖️. Watching the waves and families enjoying the surf while sipping a cold drink ( available onsite). This hotel is literally on the sand‼️ You can’t stay closer to the beach than the Del Mar Hotel. There are 2 outstanding restaurants right next door. No need to drive anywhere, just relax and enjoy.

All was superb until 10:30 pm, when the new guests on the room above us checked in/arrived. Children running stomping and yelling into the wee hours. Just to wake us up again at 7 am. They didnt seemed to be supervised, maybe lack of. Just a suggestion, please put family with children on bottom rooms.

Kitchen suite on first floor was well equipped with balcony, air conditioner worked great, staff was friendly, cafe was nice, and a short walk to the beachfront (although had to climb down rock cliff). We will stay here again when we come to Del Mar! Bed was super comfy.
