Spring break hotels in St. John's

I completely agree with the other reviewers who have praised hosts/owners Gabriella and Doug: they are the best! Rather than repeating, I'll try to add points that I don't see covered elsewhere. Absolutely beautiful hotel! Service was impeccable and the villas were very clean. Food is excellent as well but the evenings are very quiet at this hotel. Opt for the hillside villa for the plunge pool and stunning views! Only real complaint was getting used to the loud birds that would start just before sunrise...you're definitely immersed in nature here!

Spent 9 nights there and had a great time. Location is right on a beach in Dickensen Bay. We were there during the off season, so many days the beach had very few people on it except for two days. One day a cruise ship was in St. John's and passengers came to the beach; the other day a group of local children had a birthday party on the beach. Beach at Buccaneer has great water and sun but nothing to see for snorkelers. Rented a car so we could go all over the island including meeting tours...

This location is 12 minutes away from the town of St.Johns and less than 10 minutes away from the airport. Very close to Dickerson Bay which is one of the nicest beaches on that side of the island. Property is well secured with cameras and motion lights. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Denyse the host is onsite so any issues can be addressed immediately. She is very accommodating and professional. An excellent choice for a home away from home atmosphere

The Blue Waters Resort and Spa was a breath-taking place that we recently spent four fantastic days. The grounds of this hotel is picture perfect and extremely well maintained. A very Quiet and comfy Beach front apartment, with all the basic amenities, and 2 patios, both with a beautiful ocean view. Would definitely stay again😊

Great beach bar below with reasonable prices, fantastic staff, central location is easy to get cabs and 15 minutes from airport and St Johns; same beach as Sandles, pool is in the interior but not needed as the calm water is 40 feet from the front door, rooms were very clean, this is not a luxury resort but rooms are comfortable with air conditioning and have good views.

Our stay at the Hawksbill resort was amazing. It was very nice and quiet, there were many great food options, and all four beaches were beautiful. We are sad to be saying goodbye and would recommend to any others who are looking for a nice relaxing vacation.

My stay at Antigua village couldn’t have been better. The complex is so well maintained and gorgeous. tons of beautiful birds and flowers. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. It was the most peaceful vacation yet! The staff was so helpful and allowed me a late check out due to my flight being later in the day. 10/10 will stay again

I loved the 1 bedroom oceanfront room, it was so clean and the views were amazing. Plenty of little food places in walking distance. It was very lively and also quiet at the resort. The landscape and plants were so lush and well taken care of. I want to come back for a month next time!!!

Chic yet cozy resort where we were able to laze around after meals and socialize with other guests. It was very quiet there for the early part of our stay and we often felt like we had the place to ourselves! Very friendly staff, service was not always speedy but, it’s the Island way. Rooms were spacious with plenty of amenities. Loved the welcome bottle of Prosecco!

The property is not for everyone, thats for sure. If you are looking for wild night life, partying, drinking yourself stupid every night then i would look elsewhere. Wonderful host, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Clean, spacious and well equipped room. Ample parking and convenient location.

I would say know what you want--This place is PERFECTION for people who love music and like to party. If you are looking for a place of quiet solitude to sit on the beach and listen to the ocean--this isn't it. The staff are phenomenal!! Everyone was kind and courteous and they all wanted to provide a great vacation getaway!
