Thoroughly recommend. Lovely rural part of Devon, the hotel is set in its own well maintained grounds, which is excellent for dog walking, our room was clean and comfortable, as was the breakfast and dining area which were both well set out, with plenty of space to accommodate dogs. Food was great, varied and plentiful. All staff were polite, efficient, and attentive, which helped to create a pleasant and chilled atmosphere.

Room 102 location was great with a large balcony and a view to die for.paid extra. Unfortunately there was no hot water to shower for the 3 nights we stayed. Hotel let us use other rooms to shower but it was a long walk to them Staff all fantastic and helpful . Swimming pool great, garden great and easy access to the beach.. Hotel gave us a large refund which we were grateful for. If you are thinking of staying here pay the extra for rooms (family room) 102 103 and 104
