“There was a warm welcome from the proprietor, who checked us in and showed us to our room. The tea/coffee was special with sachets of both tea and coffee from local suppliers. The Hotel has a coffee shop and all cakes, scones and bread are prepared on site. Delicious. There is an honesty bar for alcohol and other beverages on the landing. The breakfast menu once more consisted of a variety of hot and cold options prepared in house including the chefs bread.
Bampton is a great centre for walking……

“Pub had lots of character. We ate in the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. Big portions and very reasonable. Lots of locals with a great vibe.
We stayed in room 6 and it was enormous. En-suite on another floor within our bedroom.
Crisp white sheets and duvet.
Plenty of hot water
Immaculate and would definitely recommend”

“Izzy and Peter were wonderful. Everything about the property was great, plenty of parking, and a very nice breakfast. The room was very pleasant. You could not ask for anything more.”
