"The door between two rooms didn’t have a clock, so that we asked to change to another room and we were queueing to ask for changing. Although there was only one group of people in front of us, we waited for a long time. It seems that the check-in process was not quite efficient and it took more than 20 mins to checkin a group in 6. Finally the problem was solved and staff were helpful. Other things are good."

"We were a group of 4 and booked a room with 2 double beds which we very comfy. The size of the room was much larger than the average 2 bed room so there was ample space for all of us to move around. The food in the restaurant was above average for what I consider a transient hotel as I’m sure rooms are booked for an overnight stay due to the proximity of the airport, which was our reason for staying there. "

"Reception staff were lovely, just what I needed after a long flight. Kind and helpful :) The room was very nice and I had the best sleep - the bed was amazing. Garden rooms are worth it to step outside of your room. The weather for me was bad but there is an electric awning should you need to be covered ! Nice touch as you never really know what weather you will get in Manchester ;-)"

"Everything about the hotel was excellent - except for one important thing: we were allocated a first floor room right over the function room where a disco went on until midnight. Any guest should make sure they are not in rooms 102 - 115 if there is to be a noisy function; the hotel needs to decide whether it is a hotel or a disco with rooms. "

"The staff we met were all lovely, in particular Abbie on the desk who checked us in and when she saw us asked about our day which was so nice. The hotel was smaller than described and I think Malmaison need to look at the space for the toilet as you can barely close the door as it’s such a small space! No issues with the breakfast or selection of cold food. We had a lovely full English and it was excellent. "
