Booked as we had a visit to the Bridgewater Hall. Hotel right behind - perfect! Booked room only, decent size room. , tea / coffee making facilities. Small gripe for me - shower was a fixed head over bath. Could only be rotated,not. moved up or down. Ate at hotel, bar lacked bit of atmosphere, but was a Sunday night. Would stay here again.

Great communication from hotel prior to check in regarding check in and parking etc. Lovely clean , spacious room with comfortable ,huge bed and great bathroom with bath. Lovely toiletries. Well stocked mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities. Great breakfast and dining room. Nice relaxing bar. Great, friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time in the Leonardo,Rachel on the front desk was absolutely lovely and made us so welcome, we were going to a concert to see Marrilion at the Bridgewater we had told her it was my husbands birthday treat after a particularly bad year as my husband had throat cancer and only recently recieved his all clear,our room was lovely and clean,we had a meal in the restaurant and Jacob in the bar was friendly and helpful,we will definitely stay again and will recommend it very highly to our family and friends..

We stayed in a basic room with a double and single bed. It had everything needed for a short stay and the public areas seemed clean and well maintained. Whilst the room overall was clean, the bathroom was in need of a housekeeping inspection as the underside of the toilet rim was visibly black and the back of the bath taps also were in need of a toothbrush and some bleach! No breakfast was included in our booking and we declined to pay extra for the breakfast as it was a flat rate of £14? and for those just requiring toast and coffee it was not good value. The cost of the drinks and snacks on offer in the foyer also seemed on the high side. Room value for money was good and the hotel position for our needs was excellent.

Excellent location convenient for central Manchester and Oxford Road station. Room comfortable with everything needed for a one night stay. Effective air con, unlike many hotels. Very calm and relaxing decor. Bathroom was something of a letdown with a cheap, and not particularly warm shower - a non slip mat would have been useful. We were pleased with the restaurant. The menu is a bit limited but the meals were of good quality and reasonably priced considering the location. Decent range of breakfast options though several of the ‘hot’ items were lukewarm/cold. One final point - the ‘shop’ in reception. The prices are extortionate. No wonder the shelves were full. Ok, there’s paying for convenience, but this was ridiculous - there’s a Sainsbury’s Local at the end of the street……

Room was comfortable and mostly clean. Big stain on carpet in my room. Basic tea/coffee tray in room to make your own. Self serve snacks/soft drink machine. Contact less. Bar downstairs . Went for a late night cap on a Saturday( just after 12am )and was told he had put the Baileys away now so I couldn't have a drink ( even though he was still serving drinks to another guest as we got there ). We were told that Deansgate opened late if I wanted to go there for a late drink. Obviously not , as I had come back to the hotel for my last drink. Not experienced this at any other hotel.
