A few niggly points: train/tram/road noise; attention to detail, for example: light bulb not working, no biscuits with tea/coffee, wash basin water pipes don't match the taps (hot water on blue/RHS and vice versa), light not working on lift call on 4th floor, woken by housekeeping knocking at 8.20am. Staff were helpful. Room was clean. Decor was dated "brick" wallpaper. We didn't have breakfast in the restaurant.

Booked on short notice and hotel was great. Excellent location, very walkable to the city and only 4 short stops on the train to Old Trafford. Spacious rooms and comfy bed and quiet.

Property was very close to the Bridgewater hall, which suited us well. The bed was comfy but the pillows weren’t. It was incredibly small, but that is to be expected from an inner-city hotel at this price point. Room and bathroom are just about clean enough. The bathroom needed updating: leaking shower, leaking toilet and the loo seat is broken. Also, there was a shower curtain. The noise from the maids trolleys started at 5:15 and was almost impossible to sleep through from then on. All in all, ok for a cheap hotel.
