Nice central location

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Close to downtown and Centennial Park Area
Cons: Room cleanliness could be better. It wasn't dirty per say but just the attention to detail when cleaning wasn't there.
Location: Great central location in close walking distance to downtown and Centennial Park area / Aquarium, arenas, etc.
Needed a hotel close to the Georgia World Congress center that was affordable, and this fit the bill. Very close walk to the Congress Center only like 4 blocks and only 1 block to Centennial Olympic Park area, and only 2 blocks or so from the main downtown area. Hotel overall was very nice, room was quiet and had a mini fridge and microwave which was nice.

Maintenance issues

Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: It was convenient to the Waffle House and within reasonable walking distance of the hotel where my meeting was being held. Very close to MARTA!
Cons: See above.
Location: I was there for a meeting at the Sheraton and not interest in sight seeing.
The desk lamp had no bulb and I had to go ask for one. The armchair was missing a foot and tilted to one side. Even after reporting it twice, it was not repaired. But worst of all was that the bathroom light went out sometime during the day and I did not discover it until I was getting ready for bed. I did not want maintenance in my room at that hour, so I had to dress and wash up in the dark the next morning. I reported it when I went off to my meeting but returned to find it still dark. It was finally fixed that night. Also, there is no "hallway" light and the switch doesn't seem to be connected to anything. In an apparent cost saving measure, the light behind the armchair had only one bulb when it was supposed to have two. There are no towel racks, so there is no place to put a towel you want to use again. Finally, a minor annoyance, there was only one coffee cup when I checked in. I used one of the caffeinated packets that first morning, but it was not replaced.

Nice hotel located right in the heart of the city

Posted May 4, 2015
Cons: Wish you could have more options than a king or two doubles. Bit of a squish for 2 large adults to share a double
Lovely visit so close to the Aquarium and the World of Coke. Short walk to Centiniel park with several parks for the kids to run off some energy!

Great Location!

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, clean lobby and rooms.
Location: In walking distance of Atlanta Children's Museum, World of Coke, Aquarium, Philip's Arena, Centennial Park and not far from Peachtree Center Mall.
We were right where we wanted to be, across from Centennial Park. I took my grand there for Spring Break, we were in walking distance of activities their wanted to attended.

Good Location

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Close to everything.
Cons: Hotel was pricey. Disappointed that a continental breakfast was not included for the price.

We stayed at this hotel to go to the Georgia Aquarium. We could not have found a better place. The aquarium was two blocks away and we were able to walk thought Olympic Park to get to it. Lots of restaurants in the area and one half block away from the hotel is the new street car stop that will make a loop to several interesting sections of the city. The ride for us was free (first three months only) but will still be a very cheap ride. Use cash or credit card at the stops for your tickets. We were there for two days and never had to us our car.

Atlanta visit

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Self parking would be nice...20 bucks to park is a little painful
Location: Near everything in downtown Atlanta
Had an overnight trip to Atlanta. The hotel location was convenient to a few attractions and had a decent price compared to other hotels in the area. The room was comfortable enough for an overnight stay.

Hotel located in a good area.

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Walking distance to everything.
Cons: What I mentioned.
Location: Lots of shopping!
The room was nice however, the air conditionin was VERY poor! It only worked on very low. My family and I was unable to sleep during the night. The hotel was booked so no other rooms available. It was myself, wife and 2 grandchildren 5 & 4. The night was a nightmare. Employees just didn't care ! At check out, not enough luggage carts. So my wife & I had to carry them down with the grandchildren. What a task that was! Don't know if I will ever book again at a Holiday Inn!
