maybe the hotel will improve after renovations

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Staff was friendly
Location: Location is good but hotel is right on the highway and road construction around the exit made it difficult to deal with
Hotel was under renovation but expedia customers didn't get the new rooms they got the old rooms. Mine was the farthest away from the desk. Bed was uncomfortable, TV was old, and shower was cold (we're talking ice bucket challenge cold here) Was glad I didn't have my family or we would have stated someplace else. Also hotel is very difficult to get to because of the frontage road and highway noise is like camping in a roadside park.

Should not be open while under construction. Not a good experience.

Bad experience

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: breakfast
Cons: Condition of rooms .
Location: Close to Toyota Park. This is why we stayed there.
Although we had stayed at this hotel previously overall my experience this time was terrible. We started off getting a room that smelled terrible. After talking to hotel clerk she offered to give us some deordorizer nor the room or give us another room. We choice another room but it only had one bed and the bathroom light did not work. Since we had our grandchildren they chose to sleep in the other room and my husband and I slept in the room without the bathroom light. The next morning my husband and I went to breakfast and returned to our room a little after ten. We were unable to open our hotel door. Several attempts by hotel staff did not open the door either. We were told the door could not be open and perhaps the door needed a new battery put into the lock. We were told the hotel manager was called and he would put in a new battery. At 1:30 we were still waiting for someone to show up. Finally close to 2pm a adjoining door was broken so we were able to get into the room.

The hotel is under a renovation and looks like it will be very nice when complete. I would have appreciated to know that there was construction.

It is under renovation so it will get better. The bar, check in, and breakfast area have already been completed. Good breakfast too

Directly beside highway

We booked the hotel not knowing it was going through extensive renovations. Very disappointed that this wouldn't be mentioned on Expedia! Hotel is remote, breakfast is awful, and the rooms were extremely outdated. We saw signs everywhere inside that a new, better hotel was to come...that wouldn't make up for the proximity to the highway....

Pros: The staff member was pleasant and professional
Cons: updated photo's of the hotel, not the deceiving photo's that where posted online
Location: Location was excellent close to where I needed to be
I was very disappointed with the facility's. The room seem be in state of repair. The peep hole was blocked by tissue paper stuck into the opening. The door that separates the rooms if they were adjourning had the locking device fall out In hand when I tested to see if the door was locked. The room looked nothing like the photos that where posted online. The hotel appeared to be in the middle of an major renovation Needless to say I will never use this hotel and I would never recommend the hotel to anyone.

Was terrifying!!

Pros: Leaving it
Cons: Everything!
It was creepy, dirty and falling apart! My kids thought it was from a horror flick! The elevator was rickety! We left and went to a Marriott instead!

Do not stay here

Posted Mar 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were looking for a hotel with an indoor swimming pool. The pool area was only 53┬░ according to the thermostat. That is way too cold for our 3 & 5 year old to swim in. The wallpaper was peeling off in our room. There were spiders in the bathroom. The carpet hasn't been cleaned in years. There were ants on the breakfast buffet. There was moisture and mold on the window seal. I will never stay at this hotel again. It's not close to any fast food either.
