"When we arrived it was late so i wasn't sure about the srea.....BUT what a surprise when we entered the building Robert stopped what he was doing and welcomed us with a sincere smile and greeting......he filled us in on the amenities and breakfast info.....there should be.more Roberts ......the room was a good size and comfortable for the night....breakfast was amazing....i hope as we continue our roadtrip alll Best Westerns compare...."

"Super convenient as it's right off the I-5, this place had a mellow, cozy vibe that permeated the hotel. The fact that every room has it's own secured back porch is highly appreciated too. Only problem was that the vertical surface areas like doors and other areas were not as clean as they could be. I would reccomend this place to anyone in need of a quiet and unpretentious room that will remind you of your mothers home."

"The host was very accommodating as I had a conflict with my booking date and he made quick changes to help my party out. We arrived to find a very well kept yurt which had all the amenities we needed. It was very clean and cozy and the host offered around the clock help if needed, but we didn't as it was very comfy. We were unfortunately bummed as the sauna was out of comission due to the wildfires and just FYI, its out of comission during most of the summer months. We didn't know that and...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing and having grown up in Cottage Grove, I had never enjoyed the view of Cottage Grove Lake from above. The house is super nice, well equipped. We were visited by turkeys and deer and enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The house is a very enjoyable 8 miles from town. We had dinner at Jack Sprats and it was excellent. Very enjoyable visit, thank you to the owners for sharing your home. "

"The pictures made the house look much bigger than it was inside. The inside was very clean and nice. The back yard with hot tub was not clean. The plants were all dead, and the whole area was covered with leaves from last fall. A rake and a blast with a leaf blower would be nice. Loved the amenities in the bathroom- the heated floor and the toilet. We were only provided a roll and a quarter of toilet paper for 3 women though.
