This is a centrally located hotel, not a far walk from Centraal Station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I found the room cramped, as the room was beneath a slanted wall and it smelled of cigarette smoke despite being a nonsmoking room. Despite those issues, I would stay here again.

Nicely central, and lovely reception staff. The carpets felt a bit grubby and the tea/ coffee box was not topped up during our stay and contained someone else's empty sugar packet. We were promised a free breakfast which did not happen in the end although it was discounted. It was nice and quiet and the concierge were very helpful.

I was disappointed with the size of the room, small for 2 adults. The mattress was too soft. Room temperature was easy to control and easy to adjust. Room was clean and plenty of towels were provided. Front desk staff friendly and knowledgeable about sights and the immediate area, the Jordan.

Dam Square - Central Station, Amsterdam Hotel Guide
The bustling heart of Amsterdam, this district attracts hordes of visitors teeming from Centraal Station to Dam Square and its beautiful Nieuwe Kerk (14th-century). The oldest part of town, Oude Zijde, is famous for its Red Light District, but the University and the docks bring a different kind of colour and buzz to the narrow streets. Don't miss the Oude Kerk, the Amstelkring Museum or the paintings in the Amsterdam Museum.
