“Excellent stay”

“Perfect gettaway!”

Perfect gettaway! The hotel and location could not have been any better for our first extended visit to Key West. The service, food, and views could not have been better.

“Very Comfortable”

This hotel shows its age but is very nice. We never moved our car from the garage. Right at ground zero for most activities. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Pool area is great, good food and drinks as well as good service. Rooms on the Duval street side are much less desirable.

Area recommendations

Take the Conch Train tour for orientation. Many good places to eat near the hotel.

“Not Impressed with the Ocean Key Resort!”

When I booked the room the description said " island view". What you forgot to mention is that means the road and trees behind the building. With this being at the end of Duval and across from the Sunset Island it should be more clear. the hotel was sold out we were told and could not upgrade. The best part was we could hear music but the view was horrible!! We had room gs really bad in our room. They were even crawling on the wall. The shower head barely had a stream and could not be adjusted to any other flow. One evening we came back to our room and there was water running down the bathroom wall. Luckily it was running into the shower. We had three guest in our room and had to ask everyday if we could have an additional wash clothe and was given one. However, if you forgot someone didnt have one. Location was great!

Awesome location if wanting to walk to Duval and Bike around the island!

Outdoors or beach

This location is great for shopping and pool but doesnt have a beach anywhere in walking distance.

“0 Duvall Street”

Ocean Key Resort is right on the Gulf with excellent views and right on Duvall St. where all the main activity is. Only about two blocks from the Seawalk Marina, restaurants and shops. We're definately going back. Thanks Expedia for your information. Only negative- No Beach.

“Perfect Key West location”

The room was very large, clean and well appointed. Bathroom was huge and ideally set up for two people to share. Right on Mallory Square, we had super views of the waterfront and sunsets, yet well enough sound insulated so we were never disturbed. Everything we wanted was right at our fingertips. I travel at least once a month and usually have a few little complaints about a hotel, but this one was perfect across the board - staff, food, room quality, amenities, price, convenience, views, room size, location . . . everything!.

Area recommendations

On or close to Duval is the most fun. Just be careful that you're not too close to one of the bars playing rock music all night, unless you plan to party. Ocean Key is perfect in that it is on Duval, but away from the bars.

“Great Location”

Love the location. Right on Duval St, and ocean front. Great views, can walk to most hot spots. Very convenient. Plan on staying at this location in future.
